That's the whole point, some of them feel threatened by someone who dares to challenge their enduring wisdom. Most of those who have 10,000 posts or whatever only do so because the majority of what they write is stupid **** like "STFU noob".

I can't take it seriously half the time either. Sometimes it's best just not take it seriously and go with it.

 

From my experience? Only the posters who dont like the microscope of this forum.
Every now & then, I get certain 'british' posters who frequent the general forum come in here simply to have a pop at my good self. They never hang around though when I take them to task & demand a debate, then its bck to the general forum where they disappear back into the mediocrity they deserve to wallow in.
Harsh words? Not at all. Its simply the truth. The general forum is the easy place to hang out for posters from these shores who burn under the gaze of the magnifying glass that is British ESB!
& I love burning the ****ers like the insects they are when they dare have a pop at me when they feel the need to venture in here once in a blue moon:smoke

General forum british isles posters aint got nothing if they dont earn their spurs in the forum that is british ESB first & foremost instead of doing the safety dance over to the virtual anomynity of the general forum...
