Being on the juice will do that that for a guy. Since you don't have to cook PED's, the term "raw talent" could apply here.

I hope Guerrero schools his cheating ass.

I've seen some Guerrero fights and some Berto fights and what comes out is that Robert is very disciplined and steady with his approach whereas Andre is all flashy and heavy handed in there. I know that you gat to explore weak points to take advantages such as the aforementioned shoulder and hips. However, Guerrero can win this one if he throws a lot of effective punches and the ones that suit him perfectly from southpaw stance is right, str8 left, str8 right, one or two body blows and outta there we go.
Berto is gonna be xplosive as always, doubling up and tripling up his meaty hooks. What we need to damage is to create an impression that Berto is swinging wildly and so we gat to be first with the jab and the str8 left hand and let him punch back. Inside, Berto is going to try to set the right uppercut so we move out and to his left. Of course all of this if we can not make it for his speed and power or else just battle him inside and let the judges tell who's more committed and relaxed in there.

I bet on Guerrero, but I thought the fight was 50/50. Seeing the weigh in, I'm inclined to give a slight edge to Berto (maybe this is what moved the price) but I still see value on Guerrero.

One thing that might be overlooked is Guerrero's chance of getting a knockdown, which would obviously help if it goes to decision. As someone pointed out, he is a sharp puncher, though not a power house. I've seen him score knockdowns with at least three different punches. Sure, it would be a shock if he KOd Berto but remember, you don't really have to even hurt Berto to knock him down. You just have to catch him at the right moment.

Berto will get to Guerrero and he's not at all certain to survive. But if he does, he'll outwork Berto enough to outscore him in the majority of rounds. A knockdown would lock it up nicely.

Guerrero by decision is +321 on betting sites. I think that is kind of absurd, so I threw a bit of money on that.

Except Guerrero was eating those uppercuts all night. Maybe Berto(e) just didn't have the "juice" in them to get Robert outta there.

Anyone know the 'ring weights'? For all the concern about the size difference it was Robert pushing Berto around.

Guerrero neutralizing Berto like that so completely with his aggression was unprecedented. He looked ill-equipped on the inside against Aydin, then comes out and throws a crazy quantity of punches against Berto while pinning him for most of the fight. He was smart to know that he shouldn't risk an outside fight given Berto's speed and power, so he folded him up like I didn't expect him to be able to. Props.

    What did I say?

Same with Viloria vs. Marquez. I stated Marquez never had a chance.

    Butthurt?

SJS never gets his analysis right.

Any person, even a blind, would know how limited Berto is. He can't box! Handspeed is good, but he does not have a footspeed. So throw away all your analysis. Guerrero boxed the snoot out of Mayweather when they sparred - which tells you Guerrero has the footspeed to go in and out, against an opponent who does not have footspeed. Its as simple analysis.
