Does the Miracle Man have the power to stop Canelo?

He doesn't. Danny is a very good puncher and at the most I'm sure he could sting Canelo but stop him? No way. If my memory serves, Danny's power is more shocking, kind of like lightning strikes. He doesn't really melt guys. I think Giovanni Lorenzo was the last guy he really planted into the ground. You need atomic power "and" speed to stop someone like Canelo. Golovkin had that type atomic power, but not the speed. Jacobs has that type speed but not the power.

The only fighters that have that ability potentially to stop Canelo are Lemiuex and Stevens. They normally melt guys if they land flush. Of course, neither have the skill set or ability to land their best on Canelo so it's really a wash.

 

Zero chance to stop Canelo and also zero chance to win against Canelo. I don`t think corrupt judges will be needed this time.
Canelo is just bad style for him. Style makes fight.

 

Alvarez's body work will be a big problem for Jacobs.

 

Sadly, I agree. Danny also has a tendency to over commit with the right hand and Canelo is such a great counter puncher.

 

Jacobs needs at least a couple of knockdowns and avoid getting floored by Canelo at all, to have a marginal chance for a points win.

 

Maybe but I do not think he will be able to catch Canelo cleanly enough. Also, even if he knocks Canelo out, he will be lucky to still get a split decision.

 

I don't think so...anything can happen in boxing, but Canelo seems to take a pretty good shot.

 

It won't matter as he won't be able to land clean. I stopped being a big Canelo fan back when his diva ways began to show up when it came to making fights, but there is no denying the man has some legit skills. Danny won't be able to catch him clean and will be eating counters all night long. If Jacobs decides to go to War, he will be stopped cold in his tracks.

 

GGG landed 4 big shots and Canelo in 2 fights and wobbled him twice. One was a pretty bad wobble too.

Canelos chin has been overrated for these two fights. His defense was far more impressive.

GGG hit Rosado with 500 bombs and didn't even drop him lol. G even Sulecki managed to do that.

Jacobs can most definitely stop Canelo and Canelo can definitely stop him.
