    I'm on board with most here - it's the best available, but some form of mandatory would improve it.

    Hopefully GBP doesn't throw the rankings into disrepute, but they did the entire sport a diservice by purchasing it. That it's the best available and in such a profound conflict of interest speaks volumes...

    I think it had to do with timing in that when Marg beat Cotto, Williams was still in the mix at WW with the Margo win - maybe Margo/Coto wasn't #1 vs #2? Had Floyd not "officially" retired? Although I find that a little hard to buy.

    From a linearity perspective, though, Shane is the only one with a reasonable argument.

    The Ring Belt is the best we got, the problem is however, the number of vacancies.

    Yes, its really the only belt out there I call the "Championship".

    The only champions I see are the ones that are fighting all opponents win or lose. All these belts have favoritism in its on ways. At the end of the night they all want money, no belt is better than the other esp. when politics is involve with all this bullcrap.

    I think the best argument would be Mosley cuz he did it most recently,and cotto was knocked out by margarito and mosley knocked out margarito.
