Does the speed at which Wilder-Fury signed prove that AJ ducked Wilder?

Have never really bought into the reasons and excuses given by Eddie Hearns and AJ for not making the fight happen. When 2 fighters want to fight each other, A side or B side, they will find a middle ground asap, get over all hurdles and just get it on.

If AJ really wanted that fight, he could have easily made it happen.

Yes, but it also smells of Haymon and Hearn trying to make this bigger than what it's really gonna be by trying to turn this into May/Pac drama. That bull**** seems to be the playbook that everyone is trying to run on the public but everybody knows the scheme already, just fight each other.

I think its a pretty good fight where 2 completely different styles and circumstances make it more intriguing. Its a risky match up for both fighters who are undefeated. An excellent awkward boxers vs an awkward but dangerous puncher.

Barry Hearn, Carl Froch, Anthony Joshua and Rob McCracken have all gone on record to tell you in their own words in black and white they didn't want the fight until Wilder gets old.

There is nothing more to debate after that. I don't know how or why people are still at loss as to who is to blame.

    flip side:

Whyte vs Parker was made in 24 hours.

Does this mean Wilder is difficult to deal with and ducked AJ?

    hhmmmmmmm

Eddies daddy and Joshua's trainer stated they don't want the fight for another 2 years.

    Sooooo...

Having said that, who knows about Wilder and his crew. Was the 50 mil offer legit? Probably not.

AJ being the A side easily dictated whether the fight happened or not. AJ's net worth is already above $40 million, taking a slight cut to make the fight against Wilder would not have cost him much. Wilder was not going to be low balled into accepting an unfair offer. The B side in these fights does not get less than 30% split

AJ doesn't have a history as a ducker ( i am no Joshua fan). both Fury and Wilder are world class duckers.

It’s difficult to call someone a ducker when they have a date and venue set for Wilder, and have publically been saying, it is for the Wilder fight.

Wilder on the other hand has already failed to get in the ring with Wlad, who was very much a fighter of his generation. The best in fact.

I just find it difficult to call one fighter a ducker when his resume is quite brilliant after only 22 fights, while giving the other the benefit of the doubt when his 40 fight resume is quite frankly well below par.

all it proves is fury needs drug money and wilder needs his grossly overrated scalp.

Everyone involved in the sport of boxing knows that AJ ducked Wilder.

The debate was over months ago.

There was nothing quick about the time it took to finally confirm Wilder v Fury.
