In what way do you "rule it" you tool?

The only divisions that 'Murica dominates are the baby-middleweight and welterweight divisions and let's face it. They're the two weakest divisions in pro-boxing.

    Fact.

The best fighters are still eitehr American or American based.

Top Latin Americans fight in the US.
Pacquiao has been based in America for most of his elite level career.

The Brits who make it big immediately go there like Lewis, Khan, Naz and Hatton.

The big fights are still there.
    You cant really deny it.

Las Vegas is THE PLACE to box

Froch who is fighting at Wembley - ''My dream is to fight in Las Vegas''

    America rules boxing. Fact

Now it's another USA vs Europe thread.

    Huzzah.

Could have been a decent thread as it seems the OP was generally curious and asking how the other half lives.

    DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.

    Nope. Some of the best.

If Pacquiao suddenly counts as an American then that is the end of the discussion really, nothing can be achieved by besting a fool.

The number of big promotions is certainly higher than anywhere else in the world, though for size of event Germany is probably the leader.

Fighters like to box in America yes, there is a certain prestige to winning in the USA for a European boxer and the big money is in America simply because the country is so vast.

I love America but the boxing world is bigger than the USA.

Hey...hey...I know the truth angers the typical non-American ESBer...I know it makes you wanna lash out at me...

I wanna see a good fight...I wanna be able to tell my grandchildren, "Ya know...I watched the Carl Froch and George Groves rematch on a stream...back in the mid '10s....I know you probably don't know who they are, boy...but they had 80k in attendance for that fight."

"Yes!...Froch was the big nosed, caveman style one Andre Ward dominated with a torn rotator cuff and and fractured hand....you know your Boxing, boy!"

It was a genuine question yes.
I kinda thought that whilst Froch will have some profile in the USA I doubt that it extends beyond serious boxing fans and I would have thought that Groves is unknown?

I agree that Las Vegas is thee fight capital of the world, I love it there, the Americans know how to put on the big events in some style, but America is no longer the big money fish it once was, now we have every country cabled up, they don't need to travel, just look at the big bucks the Klits suck up. But to fight in Las Vegas for me has a special prestige to it, all champions seek the accolade/endorsements of the American scribes, so it's a 50/50 thing now...but yeah, the USA is still a potent player being such a big country.

    Where is Pacquiao based?

Where has he fought essentially ALL of his elite level career?

    He trained in Vegas.
If thats not "based in america" I dont know what is.

Same with GGG, he fights in America now and he trains in Big Bear, thats being "based in America".

Same with Khan ,he fights in America and trains in the Bay Area

When a lot of Europeans get a little traction, they get on a plane and come to America for better quality fights, better training/sparring and more money.

    Its happened for decades.

    Its undeniable

Nope, no one gives a **** about this fight.

It's obvious these two are ducking Ward.... Ward would completely destroy both!!!
