Does it mean a damn thing when it comes to Canelo and GGG? Can they somehow hurry the rematch up when Canelo doesnt give a monkeys about that belt and wasnt even fighting for it as far as he was concerned the 1st fight.

Sooner this rematch happens the better for me but i cant really see anything being done to push Oscar and Canelo, they will take this fight when they want it, if they want it.

Lol considering Canelo refuses to fight for the strap its laughable.

WBC is truly trying to hide GGG from Saunders, unification trumps mandatory.

What the heck happened to Charlos mandatory status

The WBC showing us all who's boss where Team Triple Cheese Burger is concerned. Lol. How in the hell does the WBC order a rematch of a fight which wasn't even contested for their title? This **** is pure COMEDY the likes of which makes Richard Pryor envious. There's no doubt that the WBC wants NO part of the Charlo mando before the Alvarez rematch happens.

My question is; What does the IBF have to say about all of this? Don't they have a rule regarding immediate rematches? When was the last time Bumlovkin made an IBF mando?

Any organization that has Wilder as it's champion isn't embarrassed about anything

I understand what you mean but, the WBC tried to force the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight years back and did not succeed in the strong arm tactics then either. Canelo will treat them the same way and in the absence of any other Mexican stars he is king ding a ling at the WBC.

What happens if Cotto agrees to fight GGG, will WBC strip GGG for not fighting Canelo next?

It is just lip service from the WBC. The fight will happen. Or it won't.

Canelo is pathetic all because he had to fight golovkin he did mind the wbc when he thought he called the shots when fighters like canelo are out the sport the better

He knows he lost that fight his face and acting was worse then andre wards at the end of the kovalev fight when he heard the scores

This is so the rematch can happen before the Charlo fight is enforced, I would imagine.

Incredible that the >>>>trash guy is still using the Bumlovkin thing, that's sad as ****

since all belts get split again eventually, I would have thought making the best fight available would trump any kind of strap, considering how many of them there are
saunders hasn't done anything to raise his profile in the US (frank warren having a lot to do with that...), and that's a move he needs to make to get bigger fights

Wait a minute... Canelo wasn't even fighting for that belt, so how does that even work?
"We order you to immidiately not fight for our belt again!"... seriously, WTF?!

A lot of things don't make sense in boxing, but this is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. If the IBF or WBA ordered an immidiate rematch, I'd go ok, but Canelo does what he wants anyway... but the WBC, over a belt that wasn't even on the line is bullocks, like the Swiss call it.
