Does this win make GSP the best UFC fighter of all time?

He fought 3 non-title fights at 205.

 

I stopped watching MMA years ago but was shocked to see Bisping was champ. When I watched MMA bisping wasn't very good.

 

Yeah he's not really great but a good solid all round fighter. He caught lightning in a bottle against Rockhold that night. That happens sometimes, Serra did it to GSP. It just goes to show you don't have to be great to win a ufc belt. Sometimes you just need the opportunity and in mma there is so many different ways to win.

 

He was busy getting his arse kicked by P.E.D. users

 

Pretty much this at 1 stage every opponent he lost to were TRT or PED users

 

When l watched it Hendo almost killed him. Literally.

 

THAT punch on the ground shaved years off of Mike's life. Brutal finish.

Chael Sonnen was taken down by Bisping and Marquardt. He was also thrown by Maia... In fact a lot of people think Bisping won!! Ancient GSP manhandled that guy!

Prime GSP is superior in every aspect of MMA in a p4p sense. Chael might have better TRUE wrestling, but GSP has better MMA wrestling. There is a difference! Hence why he dominates wrestlers like Kosh, Fitch, Shields, Hughes, etc.

Add to that he has:

Better trips, better striking that allows for better set ups and makes it harder to defend takedowns

Better submission defense which allows him to maintain top control even in the guard.

Better striking damage from the top which makes his top control more dangerous.

GSP has better jui jitsu which makes his top control and scrambles more dangerous.

GSP has better takedown defense.

Gsp can out wrestle just about anybody in the octagon cause his footwork and his ability to set up his takedowns are far superior to everyone else. And it doesn't hurt that he is an extremely intelligent fighter on top of his beastly athleticism.

He poses far more problems than Chael. Wrestling is limited... It's the frame work & various martial art forms you incorporate & compliment in & around it that make the difference in mma (Hughes found this out.... Especially as the sport progressed!) & GSP moulded them all together far better than Sonnen did.

& Silva was too lengthy??? GSP has a longer reach than Chael too BTW LOL
