    I agree for stepping in on 2 weeks notice he will deservedly get paid well for helping to headline an awful card with or with out him.I actually think Gastelum may win but as you said it's very winnable .As for your scenario at the end I'm pretty sure apart from Bisping there wasn't a lot of legitimate offers to fight "just a blown up welterweight" Kevin Gastelum on short notice let alone Weidman,Romero or Luke Rockhold who he already fought and beat on short notice.

    Dont see why. Gastelum is very overrated

    Bobby, Luke, Yoel, Jacare and Christopher are easily the 5 best middleweights

    Gastelum and Bisping are pretty much on the same tier

    And Anderson can still beat anyone in a split second (with the exception of USADA of course)

    I have the P4P picture slightly odd

    Overall - Fedor
    Overall no.2 - DC
    UFC - GSP

    GSP's 2 Greatest P4P UFC rivals were both outed as out and out drug cheats

    DC dominated at 2 weight classes, only ever losing to a roided cheat who would have been KTFO had he been brave enough to fight clean

    Fedor. Compare what GSP is being lauded for - moving up a weight class and beating a very poor Champ - with what Fedor spent a lot of his career doing - beating much bigger guys than the GSP Bisping size disparity and who were better than mediocre chav Bisping

    DC didn't dominate two weight classes. He was a successful HW but never a champion.

    He was LHW champion and only lost to PEDS cheat, so you can argue he dominated 1 division but even that's a stretch.

    Overall No.2 DC? What are you on?

    You would have a solid argument IF he held the LHW strap outright (by beating Bones) and went up and won the HW strap.

    All DC is right now is the best SF guy.

    Exactly.

    If DC had beaten Fedor in SF, then Bones, then went and beat Stipe (and specifically Stipe due to how dominant Stipe has been) then he'd have a great shout.

    But he hasn't done neither of those.

    He's more than that. He's the best UFC LHW guy too

    I have GSP above him talking UFC only

    But such a success in two divisions makes him the 2nd GOAT in my book

    Why do you keep bringing up the drug cheat? DC gave Jones' roided ass such a scare in the first fight he threw his career away to come in drugged for the rematch. That's how strong Jones' fear of DC was

    Such a scare? DC got manhandled in that fight. He won like ONE wrestling exchange.

    It HAS to take a lot for a LHW to be the greatest. DC is nowhere close to being the greatest ever.

    But he only did it in ONE division of heavies, not two. And the SF HW Division wasn't considered the best when DC was the man their.

    I'd put at least 8-10 fighters ahead of DC in terms of GOAT talk. He's not as good as you make him out to be.
