does thurman have a glass jaw?

The shot he got caught with in the first round would drop most fighters. He recovered without running, holding or shelling up and recovered in around 10 seconds.
His guard isn't high and tight enough for him to be glass jawed and not to have been KOed by now.

 

Oh ffs, he was caught cold in the first 10 seconds and recovered in no time. He took some hard shots later on in the fight and he took plenty throughout his last fight with Chaves, and he didn't have any problems whatsoever, his chin is plenty solid.

 

Clearly it was glass, as was evident by the beating he took, the KDs he suffered and the obvious, severe lingering effects of that shot the had him wobbled against a feather fisted opponent like JSK.

 

hype builds for some people when a fighter looks great against subpar comp.

 

Provodnikov is a guy who, if he catches anyone correctly with a shot he could put them away.

 

I'm not that familiar with Thurman but he looked vulnerable to me. I would be hesitant to put money on him based on what I saw last night. SK is a slow, plodding type fighter with decent power. I think Thurman gets taken out with a harder punching, faster opponent. What Thurman has working for him, though, of course, is his power. He appears to be able to take out anyone but I don't think he stands up to elite comp.
