Exactly why I'm not a fan, all this "I'm willing to die in that ring" bollocks and then fights scared, says he's got the biggest heart in boxing and how he's been in 12 round wars (when exactly? Bolonti and Cleverly were hardly Gatti-Ward esque)

Plus he talks about how no fighter has come back from what he came back from etc. he got dropped by a journeyman Ovill McKenzie and suddenly starts running in fights, it's an insult to fighters like Brandon Rios, Marco Huck and the like who actually are "warriors"

Great to see the stats on here. I try and get on here as much as possible.. I can't wait for this fight to come, it's just gonna be the same as usual! People said Chilemba would beat me and there saying this fella is gonna put me out cold! I've been in the trenches enough times to know what it takes! Has he? Well he's gonna be in them against me that's for sure.. I hope he looks great doing a job on Cloud, a fight I have him only slightly favourite in.. Then ill enjoy coming to his backyard and walking away with a belt I dreamed of as a kid growing up! The same belt that the legendary John Conteh once held! Thanks again to you guys for the support and the other side who leather me! As always it just motivates me even more.. ;)

No doubt Bellew can win this fight. Only worry is that he needs to get the balance right between boxing catiously on the outside and being more aggressive, Especially as he will be away from home. Stevenson can bang but he's fairly crude from what I've seen. Bellew can pull this off he has a good boxing brain and good skills. If he puts it together on the night I can see him winning by TKO late in the fight. He needs to fight the perfect fight though. But its his big night and he stepped his levels up against Cleverly and I see him doing it again.

Best of luck Tony. Disagree with some of the stuff you say but always root for you. Love your attitude and really, really hope you come back the champ.

No regrets, do your best and we'll all be proud.

i think toney bellews gone as far as he can go with his skills, hes an ok all round fighter who does nothing exceptional, to beat stevenson you need to apply persistent pressure not be able to give him any breathing space or earn his respect with power of you're own, (i'm not convinced bellews the puncher his fans and sky sports claim him to be. )
bellew has some stamina problems, he showed this against chalimba and cleverly. if stevenson doesn't ko him by the mid rounds he'll get him out of there by the 10th or 11th.

Just been watching some of Stevensons earlier fights on Youtube,he really can whack Dion Savage was a highly touted prospect and was being backed by Floyd Mayweather and Stevenson destroyed him two rounds with power shots to head and body.Chilemba is a pitty pat puncher compared to this guy, getting hit by Stevenson will be a huge wake up call for Tony.He makes it sound like its inevitable, that hes just gonna go over there and take the title.Easier said than done...

Against Ajisafe (I think it was?) too, he was sulking as he couldn't get him out of there. Just the completely wrong attitute in the ring. Disrespectful to his opponent, not fun to watch, and comes across as arrogant when really he was just annoyed at himself and had far too much belief in his power. Same happened against Ovill first time around.
Tony is a very humble and down to earth guy, can't fault him as a bloke and I hope all that sort of thing is past him now he's moved onto bigger and better things - just needs to keep up the focus in the ring.
Isn't world level in my opinion, mind.

The Bellew and Conteh in the same sentence is a joke.Conteh was always world class and Bellew is Euro level at best.
Stevenson or Cloud will knock the daylights out of Bellew.

The Bellew who turned up to fight Clev? Yes
The Bellew who turned up to fight Chilemba 1? No

If Tony turns up 100% prepared for this fight Adonis is in for one hell of a fight.

I've seen a few posters mention Tony's stamina. Adonis throws more power punchers then Tony so he'll be gassing in the fight much earlier then Tony.
If Tony doesn't get carried away and throws his own power punchers later in the fight I see a KO happening.

If after rd6 Adonis is drained it'll be a perfect time for Tony to up the pressure into the later rounds.

If Bellew goes all out from the start aswell as Adonis the rounds will be shared and then both will be tired later on.
That'll be the worst thing for Tony to do away from home.
Lose the first few rounds by avoiding the power punches and then completely take control of the fight later on leading behind your jab when he's knackered.

I reckon Bellew can KO Stevenson. Imagine that!
