Lol yeah he does have a dad bod, not much muscle definition but he's nowhere near as bad as some.

Buster Mathis Sr and Jr, Two Ton Tony Galento are a few from previous era's.

I think Bellew genetically may just find it hard to get defined.

A guy I used to work out with really struggled for chest definition. Didn't seem to matter how many bench presses he did, he just couldn't his chest to look like it was building muscle.

Think it's just genetics. Even when he campaigned at LHW - which seems absurd now - he still looked ill-defined and 'sloppy'. Just a very thin sloppy....

In fairness these guys are professional athletes. I’ve always wondered why some don’t get properly in shape, as it would add to their performance.

I’m not talking about being ripped here, but there does seem to be a correlation, when looking at heavyweights, between being in top shape/condition and being successful.

There’s so much more needed, than just good conditioning, but good conditioning is something you can control.

Past greats at heavyweight: Wlad, Vitali, Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson. All of them are or have been in top condition during their time.

There are exceptions to the rule, of course, but why a fighter hinders his potential is beyond me.

Donnie 'Big Nasty' Palmer deserves an hounarable mention here.

Bellew is somewhere near the middle of the evolutionary diagram with Butterbean at one end and Joshua at the other.

Bellew just isn't a heavyweight, he needs to eat to get over 200lb.

He is not even the sloppiest current top ranked HW

Adam Kownacki looks much worse than Bellew or Andy Ruiz who has been mentioned.

Adam Kownacki takes for a current top ranked HW
