does tyson deserve a place in the hall of fame?

I respect those who have a greater grasp on the history of boxing than I do, and thus would rather see some lesser known fighters get in first. But to me, it would be a travesty if for some reason, Tyson isn't inducted in his lifetime.

The HOF committee would have rathered that Tyson continue to fight on after McBride cuz it would mean another 5 years after each fight, thus putting off what will be a very controversial enshrinement. I say controversial because of Mike's exploits outside the ring. There is absolutely no doubt that he is a Hall of Famer. His title reign was nothing short of outstanding and whether people agree or not, he's got a lot of solid names on his resume.

 

yes, for sure Tyson is probably the greatest boxer ever, he beat Larry holmes,Marvis Frazier,Trevor berbeck, James Tilis,Razor ruddock, Frank Bruno, Pinklin Thomas,Mike Spinks. Thats just some of the great boxers he fought, **** that alone should be able to get you in the hall of fame
