Does Usyk really have a chance of getting a decision?

I have no doubt he could BEAT Fury, but whether or not he'll get the decision is another thing.

Fury at home, at Wembley, bigger cash cow, bigger draw.

Usyk is definitely not KOing Fury, so he'll have to get the decision.

Remember that ridiculous SD last fight against Joshua... imagine what it will be like if Fury and Usyk is a close fight?

This fight needs to be on neutral ground with neutral judges.

I want Usyk to win, but I have a feeling Fury will get the decision regardless.

He beat Joshua on points twice, who is a far bigger cash cow than Fury. So certainly.

You can't compare Joshua to Fury when it comes to British bias and 'home support'.
Fury can run around saying 'Rule Britannia' all he wants but the 'elites' hate him.
We need a deep understanding of the English liberal to understand why there is such a difference in support between Fury and Joshua at the higher levels.
    But it's clear to see.
It's a fact that from the beginning Fury never got the same support and promotion and he was/is hated by the establishment.
There are many stories from Hennessy and also Fury himself about what's gone on and most of it long before any political comments were made by Fury.
Fury has a bit more power now due to big deals and the belts, but I would consider Fury a neutral in a fight like this, maybe even a foreigner.
Usyk would be more likely to get the robbery, I'd say.
There are a lot of people in UK boxing who would love to see Fury fall and also love to neutralise Joshua's losses by having Usyk beat Fury too.
Never forget that the English judge undermined Fury in the Wilder fight! Normal rules of 'patriotism' do not apply in England!

Yeah but if they were closer fights Usyk may have been robbed. It's only because there was a clear winner that Usyk got the decision, and he almost got robbed the 2nd time when one judge thought Joshua ****ing won...... Let that sink in!!!

Fury vs Usyk will be a closer fight, which is what makes me fear for Usyk

Not necessarily home bias but cash cow bias

“Usyk is more likely to get the robbery”

    ?????

    I agree with the OP

Usyk is going to have to put on a clinic in order to win a decision

Yes. I'm having flashbacks of the run up to the 2021 AJ-Usyk fight where people debated this

I want people (sounding like Dwyer here) to look at the Fury-Whyte cards. I think one of them had it really close, even if the fight was anything but. Fury doesn't have the star-power or relationship with boxing insiders that AJ and/or Hearn does. There's also the fact that, imo, boxing robberies are becoming less common as the sport increases its spotlight. I'm not saying we're back to Floyd or Oscar levels of popularity, but it's better than it was maybe 6 or 7 years ago, and most importantly, with the surge in social-media, bad judging, bad judges, fights/fighters/promoters who benefitted from poor judging (and refereeing) get more and closer backlash than they used to. I'm not saying you should go and troll a fighter or judge or promoter on Twitter or Instagram, but fans can hold these people to account better than they could 20,30+ years ago. Believe it or not, most fighters DO read their comments lol. I was watching UFC on Saturday night and I swear Adalaide Byrd was one of the judges for some fights. EVERYONE knows who that is

    However...

Fury's best asset is making other fights look bad. It's a combination of his attributes, IQ and style, and it's ugly to watch, but it's true. He made Whyte look like absolute ****, and this is coming from someone who marginally rates Whyte. Same for Wlad and basically every fight outside of Cunningham and Wilder who could still do their own thing... somewhat

I have no idea how this fight goes. In fact I still don't believe it will even happen. Usyk could go out there and make Fury look like Shrek, and boost AJ's stock enormously. Fury could go out there and maul Usyk, shutting him down in the clinch and maybe even dropping him with some dark arts™

I have no idea, and that is what a superfight (megafight?) should be like

I think today Fury posted a video and said "let's not do a rematch", he may be trying to rob Usyk with the help of the judges, once and for all.

Which will be too obvious if he does especially when he is the one who got robbed in his first Wilder fight. I mean, supposedly it happens like that, imagine the public's reaction.

Usyk has all the chance for a decision win as he did it against AJ.

Well, they tried their best to rob him in both AJ fights.

Sure and especially in the second fight where Glenn Feldman wasn't even able to explain his scoring. They did so in the Chisora fight plus the smaller ring they chose in favor of him. But considering all that and the scandalous Dubois-Lerena referee as well, it'll be too impudent if the Brits decide to do give a victory to Fury if he loses even a close fight. Let's hope for a clear fight however.
