during the fight all hugs n kisses (i think he wanted a bed in the ring)....after the fight all smiles n jokes....it was like he was just happy to be apart of the event (and even more happier for his $3million!). friggin con!
That's ******ed. A fix would entice people to buy a ppv again. It would make the fighters seem respectable, and the promoters happy. Nobody is happy with what happened. It would have to be the most ******ed fixed fight in history.
Who the hell voted yes? Ortiz was clearly getting outboxed... Sure it was entertaining for me to see, because I enjoy a good boxing clinic (please note.. I do note like big mismatches in physical ability, but when someone technically destroys someone.. it is beautiful) That being said... Either it was a big mismatch of skill.. or it was a con.. at which point I don't want to see it either way
I wouldn't mind a rematch since it was looking to maybe become exciting, but I would rather see Floyd vs Sergio or Pac since they are the only two who can give him a challenge. I think the rematch is likely because of Floyd's post-fight interview. It would probably sell to casual fans, Floyd would make some easy $$$$ in comparison to the other two fights.
No. The rematch won't have the same result, but we can be certain it has the same winner. Victor clearly is a class below Floyd, and it was only the way the fight ended premature what was controversial. I don't want to see Floyd in another bullsh#t fight in wich anyone knows who's going to win already. Move on and try to make "the fight" already. And for Victor, keep fighting "Berto class" for the time being, get more experience and try to evolve into a better fighter. Believe me, Mayweather and Ortiz probably both want a rematch. Floyd for money and an easy fight, Ortiz for the money and the exposure... Make sure they don't get it.
