Does Vitali have a better option than David Haye.

    Consider....

    After the press conference Brawl, the fight would be easy to make, Haye is relevant again, so many people hate him, the fight would sell more than any other makable fight, and be a good way for Vitali to try to go out, Ko'ing Haye and silencing him once and for all.

    What else is there for Vitali, seriously, Chisora was dredging the Barrell to be fair, and Wlad has just been reduced to fighting Mormeck.

    Put your klitschko love and Haye hate aside for a second and tell me if Vitali has a better option and why.

    P.S Don't even think about mentioning Povetkin, we all know thats never going to happen.

    The only other person i can think of is Seth Mitchell which might encourage americans to pay attention or maybe Helenius . I wouldnt give either much chance unless Vitali gets old very fast

    I suspect your right and i think that is probably the case with Helenius as well in which case Haye really is the only option. How would Haye getting a liscence work out ? . Presumably he'll struggle to get one the Uk for the next year or so. Could he get one abroad if the British Boxing Board of Control tried to block it ?

    Other than Wlad its the biggest fight for either of them in the division so why not....It makes more money, and also makes more sense fight wise.

    Haye is the big one, but Helenius is definitely an option. Regardless of the questionable decision over Chisora, he got the W and the public are fickle. He can still be marketed as the dangerous undefeated Nordic challenger with a hammer in his hand. I can hear the omious strains of Sibelius Sympony #5 accompanying the marketing drive.

    If you look at Vitalis record you cant say it isnt improved significantly with David Haye on it. He needs him.

    Yes any of these would be better and not to mention far, far better fights to watch.

    Povetkin

    Huck

    Valuev

    Wlad

    Boytsov

    Yoan Pablo Hernandez

    Helenius

    Tbh the extremist types that are arguing that Haye is a far better option than the above are likely ignorant bigots, blind Nationalistic fan boys and more than likely, probably a bit racist.

    Why? His next fight will likely be Boytsov anyway with Vitali's next fight being a mandatory with the former being the second highest ranked behind Arreola who has already said he wants to face Wladimir rather than Vitali.

    Povetkin is clearly the best legacy enhancer that can be made out there for either brother and has been the best fight either brother could make since the retirement of Lewis.

    Huck vs Vitali could sell out a 100'000 capacity stadium in Germany as well as smash the TV viewing record. That's the biggest fight that can be made in Germany.

    Not to mention with Chisora banned for behaving not quite as bad as Haye then more than likely Haye isn't going to be able to get a licence anyway before Vitali's next fight.
