I cant believe that guy said Peter is great for simply FIGHTING Wlad and vitali.

Francois Botha fought Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Klitschko and Holyfield. Does that make him an atg as well?

when the era is as **** as it is today these stretch things as far as possible.

I guess you never heard that Peters was better than Big George or Sanders was the GOAT underachiever

Because of this mythical "head to head" nonsense, which is always given to the exact same types of fighters. Those who didn't beat anyone, had a good chin and power. Guys like Tua, Vitali, Mercer, Peter etc., become "head to head nightmares" when the reality is, they were all easy to outbox.

I don't have an issue with predicting fights. However, the way skill is totally overlooked when people talk about "head to head" is baffling. It only seems to be distorted in this way when heavyweights are mentioned.

People say that Vitali is unproven....no, he is proven. He's about as proven as you can be. He faced one very good fighter and was getting outboxed and quit. He faced a near shot great fighter and had to be saved in the sixth round. Vitali isn't untested, he's not as good as Byrd and not as good as Lewis.

At best, Vitali is around the top 50 as a heavyweight. He's like a much lesser Max Baer, before the Frankie Campbell fight. An unskilled, wild tough guy who has been protected by his far superior lil brother and that creepy Boente.

Yeah those are some real good false statements about Vitali. On all of those scorecards Vitali was getting so "easily outboxed" on, he was ahead on all the judges cards in both fights. Byrd was so far behind on each card he would have needed a KO to win, or several knock downs.

For such a shitty, and average fighter you claim Vitali to be. Why is he rated in the top 10 p4p, by some of the most respectable sources. Sites that have polls taken by professional/paid boxing analysts, and writers. Haters are going to hate

Because most people, as Uncle Roger said, don't know **** about boxing.

Most of these lists aren't even close to bringing guys like Gonzalez, Uchiyama or Nishioka into their top 10. They're ignorant of who they are. Would anyone seriously argue that Vitali is a better fighter than Gonzalez is? Of course not, and yet he's overlooked because he's not a big name fighter. When Broner beats a good fighter, he'll jump into every single P4P list because he's marketable, not because it's deserved.

I couldn't care less what people say about Vitali. They're simply wrong.

That shitty euro fighter happened to be Maskaev who knocked Rahman out TWICE & Peter knocked Maskaev out.

    Game, set, match.

................and just in case those 2 wins Maskaev has over Rahman are being considered a fluke, Rahman lost to Toney while Peter beat Toney TWICE. :deal
