He wasn't in the greatest of shapes, he was struggling in there at times. But he still got his man. Dread to think what a prime Lennox does!

    Why?

Foreman doesn't have the size, strength or the brains to beat Klitschko. Lopsided UD or stoppage victory for Vitali.
Prime Lennox was put on ***** street by McCall and iced by Rahman.
Old Foreman would get jabbed silly and lose a wide UD.

If the cut didn’t happen, I think Lewis was in trouble that night. Ifs, buts and maybe’s but the cut saved Lewis imo. Vitali fought well and showed some real grit that night. Great fight.

Young Vit was almost 32. Young Lewis should not have been stopped by Oliver McCall or iced by Rahman.

No, he shouldn't but he did, went away, learn his lesson and came back better.
But a last minute sub in the shape of a younger man, vit, couldn't beat him once.

Sure, and Lewis got stopped by fringe contenders. Now we can keep going on with this pointless back and forth or you can explain what Lewis has got to do with Foreman.

Great clip. I certainly wouldn’t like a left hook off Joe. Those hooks look awesome. Not forgetting Foreman’s power, of course. I posted on another thread recently regards old era vs new era fighters. One member disagreed with my post and pointed out how the older generation of fighters fought at a higher pace with more intensity. Certainly no feeling out in this fight, and a good example.

Operated behind a jab, maintained his preferred range, picked his shots well, stuck to a game plan, neutralized his opponents weapons, used lateral movement, had responsible defense, didn't get overly anxious to get the KO after hurting his opponent.

Thank you for proving my point.

Flailed his shots wildly, missed several times, loaded up on his shots. You think he's going to bother a defensive guy like Vitali with those? Think again.

Well how about this, Prime Foreman against Vit is a lot worse for Klitschko than that version of Lennox was..
So I'm picking George by murder.

Foreman couldn't even murder little Jimmy Young.

Missed several times, yet scored 6 knockdowns in 2 rounds. Guess he had horrible timing and accuracy.

He fought at the perfect pace to neutralize a high intensity, high workrate swarmer. Any faster and he'd gas himself out. Any slower and Frazier would be all over him like white on rice. Not sure what it is you have an issue with. Against Chuvalo, he jabbed a lot more and kept him at the end of it. Against Norton, he cut the ring off and pressured him. He didn't fight the same way every fight and could have a good pace. You have yet to disprove this claim.

The clip I posted demonstrates what I claimed: that Foreman loading up on his shots was a thing and very likely why he blew his wad in longer fights.
