or is he happy to keep earning peanuts defending his trinket in America?

Its clear that Froch and Kessler represent everything that is good in boxing, they are huge draws who fight like warriors, and are prepared to travel into an opponents backyard even as champion :deal

Does Ward have the ball bag to leave America to come and earn the big bucks by fighting 168 champ froch infront of a proper crowd in England? :think

Is Ward really interested in respect from the fans and legacy? :think

Froch needs to goad Calzaghe in to fighting. If he were to unlikely beat Calzaghe, he would have a better legacy and rating than Ward. But if Joe wins, he goes on to beat the shite outta Ward ans becomes top 10 ATG

I think both fighters need this match, Froch is a much better fighter than the last time they fought and Ward needs a belt whilst Froch wants revenge. I think a second fight would be a very close one with Wards superior defensive skills pitted against Frochs jab and never say die attitude, being a Froch fan I think if Froch keeps on top of Ward and constantly utilise his jab and aggression then he'll win. However I'm a big fan of the slick skills of Ward and and as close a fight as I think it would be I still see Ward prevailing on a close points decision.

Does Calzaghe have the ball bags to rematch Hopkins now? Hop was 3 years older than Joe is now when he made him look lilke a dandy.

Ward had that irish paddy look about him.

His half tyson fury, half jesus.

He would walk over the atlantic, beat froch and kessler in the same night, they can have 6 rounds each.

    ward ud

Froch is definitely looking real good right now. I hope this fight gets made. At this point, it's the only fight to be made at SMW. Ward needs to get his ass to Froch's territory, though. Froch is doing outstanding fighting in England, why change that? He utterly beats Bute and goes on to get a win over his biggest rival.

Froch loses to Ward again, and I'm a die hard froch fan. BUT, Carl no longer needs Ward, who has stagnated and was shouting about how he doesn't need Kessler or Froch last night but in reality he has very little options himself other than fighting blown up middleweights, whereas Froch could go on to get pay days against Kessler for a third time or even George Groves which would be massive in the UK. Ward wants the Froch fight mark my words, but Froch has a very good bargaining chip now in that he has moved well beyond the likes of chasing Andre Ward to America.

If Ward wants the fight he needs to grow a pair and get that passport out.

That's an interesting comment, would a victory over a 42 year old Calzaghe enhance Froch's legacy more than a victory over a 29 year old Andre Ward?

Interesting analysis solarcycles, Froch is clearly the cash-cow in the division, do you think that Ward has the ballbag to come and fight infront of a real crowd in England, or do you think he's happy to keep hiding in America, defending his trinket infront of 5,000 dorks for peanuts? :think

Money talks, I don't know why some Americans don't like fighting away from home it's obviously not a fear thing so may e they feel they can get more money back in the US. I like Ward and I can't see him dodging anyone, the fight will happen its just a case of where.
