Wasn't the 2nd Veit fight because Veit had worked his way back up to mandatory contender? Its hardly like Bernard Hopkins fighting Robert Allen 3 times is it? :lol::lol::lol::rofl:patsch

Back to the question in hand Larry Spiff, do you think that Ward has the ballbag to come and fight infront of a real crowd in England, or do you think he's happy to keep hiding in America, defending his trinket infront of 5,000 dorks for peanuts? :think

Does Froch have the balls to fight Ward again ANYWHERE?

    Thats the question.

Ward said a fight in Wembley was a possibility last night.

Frochs team need to pick up the phone to Wards team though.

Another Ward win over Froch in America would mean very little, but if Ward could be the first to best him in the UK in front of a huge crowd, that would be a good scalp on his resume and gain the respect of many critics. The thing is he is well able to do it too.

    Pointless fight
Ward would just beat him the same way again.

Its clear that Froch is the cash-cow fighting in England, Froch could sell out football stadiums from now on, where as Ward couldn't sell a pint of milk to a man dieing of thirst in the desert :fight:banned:eek:ld:blabla:gayfight

Ward clearly needs Froch to gain some much needed respect back after ducking Bute and dragging Dawson down to 168 :deal

Does Froch actually need Ward? Froch could make massive money fighting Groves, Cleverly, or Pascal on home turf, dwarfing the meagre paypackets that Ward would be earning defending his trinket in America.

At what point does Ward step out of his comfort zone?

At what point does he care about legacy?

At what point does he care about earning big money?

At what point does he care about respect from the fight fans?

At what point does he care about becoming the cash-cow in the division?

Ward has no one left to fight in SMW, he got to top quickly and should have made a lot more money and fans in the process. He is undoubtably the best in that division and will be for a while. The amount of recognition and support Froch and Kessler get, clearly bugs him though. Ward should go to England, he'd still win, but he has always had everything in his favor, fighting in Oakland.

    Terrific statement Collie :deal

Ward can earn the big money, the respect of boxing fans, and put a real marker down on his legacy by coming to England and fighting infront of a real crowd. Does Ward actually care enough about his legacy, does he want to become the unified champ?

At some point you have to go where the money is at and if that means Ward dusting his suitcase and passport then so be it. But like you say does Foch need Ward now, he's now the one with the gold and can call the shots. Froch v Groves would be a great domestic fight and a big money spinner for both fighters, if Ward and his team aren't careful they could find themselves out of the picture, which for all boxing fans would be a great shame.

Yeah, Ive had that for about 3 years.

I bet ACTUAL money on fights.

    And Im doing just fine.

If Ward fights Froch in Frochs living room, with Frochs family as the judges, Im still going to be lumping money on Ward to win.

Hes already beaten him with 1 hand.

Why would it be pointless General? Who is Ward gonna fight to gain the big money and the respect of the fans? A win over Froch at this stage in England for 3 belts would be absolutely HUGE for Ward at this point of his career, a real marker for his final legacy, something to quiten all the doubters. If Ward is that good, then why not come to England and put a beatdown on Froch whilst earning by far the biggest payday of his career?

Ward cant just come out and say "no i dont want to fight Froch in England or outside of America" So he says maybe this maybe that. But in the interview i saw last night it pretty much read like "I dont want to come to England, America is where i want to fight"

Sounds like ***** **** to me. No balls. He is the superior boxer with no belt he should be doing EVERYTHING he can to get them belts not pussyfooting around. ****in ******.

    Respect???

Hes already taken care of Froch with one hand!

What additional respect is he going to acquire?

Would Mayweather have gained more respect by rematching Hatton in Britain?

Would Tyson have gained more respect for fighting Bruno in Britain??

    Seriously, Id like to know.

And try to answer without..."uh....uh...Ward would make more money! Frankly thats Wards descision on his own finances."

Lets try to keep this to boxing.
