Slappy White's extreme unorthodox style is the reason he had limited success in his career. Plus, he always fought in England with those hair trigger refs who stopped the fight as soon as Slappy laid hands on his opponent.

Australian poster here, can not ignore the massive holes in what people laud as an ATG legacy. i find myself constantly having to draw people's attention to the cold, hard facts.

Sigh. I suppose belongs on the list somewhere... but... how could a legit ATG allow someone like Sven Ottke to retire undefeated? How could he make so little attempt to unify the division he occupied for over a decade? He only tried after Ottke retired and even when he "unified", the likes of Anthony Mundine, Alejandro Berrio and Manny Siaca were tossing belts around like hot potatoes. His campaign at Super Middle was NOWHERE NEAR as dominant as his fans make it out to be. Some may blame Frank ******, but Calzaghe was happy to sit there and watch it all happen.

Ok, how exactly does me saying that Hopkins has more than proved his worth at world level despite being older than 40 so using his age to excuse a loss or to **** on a fighter for beating him is a massive cop out equate to me "lying"? Are you going to sit there and tell me that Hopkins wasn't in the top 5 p4p for years while being over 40? Are you going to say that he hasn't beaten world level or better fighters during that period? Or that he isn't currently a world champion and ranked #1 in the Light Heavyweights by the Ring annual 2012?

Also, six losses? No, four losses, and only one undeniably clear loss. An SD loss followed by UD loss to Taylor in fights in which he outlanded Taylor and many thought he deserved to win, a SD loss to Calzaghe in a close and difficult to score fight that many thought he derserved to win, and an MD loss to Dawson in an ugly and scrappy affair that he clearly deserved to lose. As for the other two "losses" that you claimed, the first a draw against Pascal that, again, many thought he deserved to win and the second was NC against Dawson where Dawson was ruled to have deliberately fouled Hopkins by throwing him to the ground and injuring him in the 2nd round and had his TKO victory stripped from him, neither are "real losses" and do nothing to disprove the notion of Hopkins being a proven world level or better fighter despite being beyond the age of 40.

my mistake with the figures, and sorry when I replied I thought I was replying to the other guy who was lying.

Still, Hopkins has a poorer record in his win one lose one 40s than his undefeated MW defences streak in his 30s.
