It seems the WBC ,WBA IBF all have eliminators to get there mandatories but WBO does not what gives?:huh Like I have not even heard of Sebastion Zbik having to fight John Duddy to be come the mandatory for Pavlik or Alexander Dimitrenko having too David Haye for a shot at Wladimir?:blood

The WBO is the easiest organization to climb the ranks quickly because you only need to hold a regional for a little while and you shoot up the ladder.

Ive seen it happen a ton.

    Maybe they do.

But ive seen it happened heaps with fighters from Australia. Katsidas, Dawson, Nick Tetoras, Ben Rabah all got rankings they didnt really deserve after getting a WBO regional. And Im sure besides Katsidas you have never heard of any of those other guys but some had rankings as high as #2 within months of getting an Asia-Pacific regional.
Add Oganov to that list aswell.

Wlad beat Sam Peter on a WBO eliminator in 2005.

This year, Tony Thompson beat Luan Krasniqi for another WBO eliminator.

That is correct. The german Universum Boxing Promotion has very good contcts to the WBO. Just take a look at the rankings, there are so many boxers from Universum ranked high.

The WBO does give eliminators, often when fihghters from Universum Boxing Promotion are involved. Krasniqi did 2 WBO Eliminators: against Whitaker and Thompson.

Alexander Dimitrenko is also from universum, just guess why he is No.1 at the WBO :huh .

A WBO #1 spot does not mean you are the mandatory automatically, but the WBO often makes the #1 guy the mandatory, like they did with Sultan Ibragimov after he fought a draw to Ray Austin.

Compared to the other 3 major bodies, it seems that the WBO indeed seldom relies on elimination bouts. The rare one's that have been organized in the past often involved boxers from Universum, who are very influent within the WBO since the bodies' creation in 1988. For instance Dimitrenko vs. Krasniqui is being billed as an eliminator...

Every org is different, WBC have eliminators coming out of their ears but take ages to get you a shot.

while the IBF take eliminators too seriously stripping legit champ seamlessly to fight a ranked contender nobody cares about...

WBO do the same thing but sont have as many as the WBC and are not as strict on them as the IBF.

They tend to throw WBO interim titles to anyone who wanst them though...

    ****in confusing, their all ****.
