Does whether a mayweather-martinez fight happens at 160 or 154 make a diffrence?

it makes a huge difference. That is the problem with catchweights. One guy is favored over the other in an unfair way. 160 favors Martinez and 154 favors Mayweather. The early rounds might be similar, but in the long run it matters. Catchweights are bad for boxing.

 

If Sergio can make it we know Pacquiao will fight him at 150(152?). How about Floyd?

 

martiez cant make 150 :-( 154, but, pac wont budge since he aint shot or coming off a loss. floyd will never fight him period

Huge difference. At 160, Sergio makes weight comfortably and rehydrates to 170+. At 154, he will have to kill himself. I think Sergio said the lowest he would go is 156. But i'm sure if Floyd or Pac agree to a fight, he will force himself down to 154.

 

I Floyd schooled pac real good and Martinez KO's a few more top dogs. The fight and money would find itself. It will be another "Too big not to be made." Since Floyd can manage with 2 inches the only thing that can make it not happening is, if hes scared. I dont think hes scared.

I predict that a 36 years old Floyd Fights the 38 years old martinez. And that will be after Khan get his wishes.
