I did not pick a winner before hand. I thought it was a 50/50 fight, and both are among my current favorites. HOWEVER, I did say several times that if Tony could trap Cotto, he would finish him. He could have made it a lot easier. I was SCREAMING at Margo "STEP RIGHT - STEP RIGHT!!!"

I had Margo by ko in rd 10 so I almost got it right.

i had been saying for the longest that if this fight ever happened, margo would break cotto down, and stop him in the mid to late rounds. too big, too strong and too good a chin. the only reason this fight went as long as it did was because cotto had his track shoes on.

 

i don't think so. with the beating cotto took tonight, he may never be the same fighter again.

I called a 6th round TKO, but a win nevertheless for Margarito. I just knew he had it in him.

 

I didn't lean on Margarito winning, but I sure was cheering and hoping for a huge Antonio Margarito victory tonight.
