Sure, because he does not know what condition Povetkin is in. It's not prime Pov, but it wasn't the first time, either. For the sake of the division, I hope Whyte wins this time and then fights either Wilder or Ruiz. There actually are a lot of interesting fights to be made at HW, everyone just needs to get more active.

He needs the win obv but hearing about issues many other athletes are having trying to get back to even close to there pre covid health fitness levels,I think combined with Povetkins age and what stage of his career hes in etc,i don't think Whyte winning will be that impressive at all and he still likely needs at least 1-2 fights before getting title fight

Some credit of course but not a great deal

Lets be honest , but I'm sure SKY will act ,like its the biggest avengement since Charles Bronson made Death Wish 3

    Definitely.

Povetkin even as an older fighter is still one of the best heavyweights in the world and along with Chisora he’s one of the most experienced active heavyweights. Povetkin can still knockout any of the younger heavyweights that are dumb enough to underestimate him as Whyte found out.

You're asking a question where the answer isnt a yes or a no, but a matter of degrees.

Maybe. Given the circumstances though I don’t think it’s too unreasonable to have a more polarized viewpoint. Especially If Povetkin performs very poorly.
