Does Wilder have a weak chin or is it just his chicken legs?

It's irrefutable that Wilder has little to no punch resistance, but is this down to a weak mandible or those spindly, basketball player legs? Are they related? Spindly leg guys are usually prone to having pretty pathetic punch resistance. Your thoughts?

Well, his weak chin will have him doing a chicken dance, as soon as his management dares to put him in with a live body!!

    No correlation.

Wilder's awful mandible wouldn't change if he bulked up his legs.

    He has no Chin. None.

    No correlation

His "I don't play boxing" line is laughable given his weak resume

His legs and generally lanky frame don't help, but honestly it's his reckless style that gets him in trouble the most. When you don't see or prepare for the punches coming you're obviously going to feel them more.

Id say his legs dont help with his balance and footwork, which helps in bracing for a shot, but it's more to do with his scrawny long neck holding up that pea sized head of his that causes his lack of resistance.

His long legs actually do him a service allowing him to stay outta range of shorter reach fighters or bums rushes.

Still makes me laugh when someone on here after seeing pics of Wilders legs at his last fight actually wondered if Wilder might have polio lol?

It's not his legs, it's his weak long neck + small head.

Still, it's not a Price-grade chin, so far it's served him OK admittedly against weak opposition.

    His legs are invisible.

Wilder was in his chin prime against a discoloured urined Stiverne but is now chin shot. He is on the road to become the new Danny Williams.
