people can be in denial all they want but boxing is dead in america and there is no current pro that can save it. it doesnt matter if canelo makes good money and decent ppv sales he is not an american star and joshua is also not going to go anywhere also, and wilder is a horrible fighter and his personality is very dark and he will never be a peoples champion. sorry guys that's the way it is and all the fighters active today are missing that spark and the promoters and managers know but theyll never outright say it. what's needed is another tyson or dempsey who can connect with the people. and honestly all these fighters today are lame and arent genuine.

Wilder can't speak well, isn't personable, talked way too much crap for a fighter of his caliber while never fighting anyone of any significance, and is from the countryside. Pretty hard to build a dedicated fan base from here at his age. He's going to have to accept he's only going to be in big fights as an opponent. Whyte, Fury, Povetkin, Usyk, Chisora, all have bigger fan bases from contender status. Apart from these guys or megastar Joshua, he's going to have to fight guys on a similar fan base level such as Kownacki, Miller, Parker, Allen to make some coin. Nothing against Wilder, I think he's the most interesting character in the division, but facts are facts, Joshua and Fury would be the ones selling tickets/PPVs in future fights.

Just fought Fury to a draw in an heavyweight epic, which was well received by all so no he doesn’t need to change a thing.
I’m in a camp that portions the blame on both for not fighting,Wilder could of taken his biggest payday yet and AJ should of realised that he needs to fight in the US.

Fury is proving who the REAL DOSSER is. He is the biggest FAKE and liar out there.
    1. Tested positive and knew they had him bang to rights, went on a drink, food and Drugs binge and retired. Proclaimed he had mental health issues when in fact he was just dodging getting a proper BAN. Came back proclaiming to be the face of people with mental health and is going on tour to numerous venues bragging about it!!!
    2. Fights 2 bums and accepts the Easier fight in Wilder, avoiding Joshua. Says its the easiest fight to make, gets a Draw after being Poleaxed twice. Proclaims he won and says he wants a rematch.
    3. Over the last Few weeks Since the Christmas festivities finished both camps were quiet, WBC mandated the rematch and extended it..But still deadly silence. Now Fury signs with TR and ESPN says fighters must go to him lmao.
    4. Says he only wants to fight the Top fighter ie Champs or #1. Does not get involved in boxing politics?? Now the rematch is off for now!! When its fresh and in peoples mind, but no he is gonna have a tune up and suggests Wilder needs a tune up to become more popular lmao.
Summary:- Fury is FAKE, a liar and a cheat. Hell he did an interview where he looks like he is on the coke again bouncing around and chewing gum like cow chewing cud. Evades the question who he will fight next!! All signs of Fury being Fury just a Moron
Such a shame as his style and boxing skills could end up bringing him all the belts..What a PU$$Y

Weird question, he didn't need to raise his profile at all to secure these fights as Joshua was chasing him and offering him fights when he was making a couple of mill on non PPV fights and Fury actually already fought him.

Now does he have the profile and ability to generate revenue to secure fights where he gets a 50/50 deal, no probably not. But his profile and US sports fans awareness of him has rocketed since the Ortiz and Fury fights. He seems to be mentioned more in media, which a year ago nobody really did outside of boxing. Hence why Hearn's offers have increased in value over time, hate to say it but the fight is getting bigger as time goes by, which will only likely ensure the fight gets delayed even longer to grow future revenue, which sucks.

Not $80 mill, deal is for £80 mill according to reports which is about $105 million.

Why I don't like Fury making this deal I honestly can't blame him, that's crazy money, he's getting $21 mill a fight, I doubt he ever imagined making that for one fight from anyone but Joshua when starting this comeback.

He'll likely be making $21 mill for fighting guys like Parker, Pulev, Rivas etc. Absolutely crazy. Joshua making $25-30 mill for Miller is also nuts, that's what Tyson/Lewis were making for their fight.

Agreed but I think it's more a long term investment in boxing in general as they vie to be the main next streaming platform for boxing and probably sport in general. May even be a move to push Showtime out of the picture like HBO and relegate DAZN into a 2nd tier platform.

He only fights 3rd tier fighters.
Had a chance to fight prime Povetkin and ran like a little girl.
