No, he is unable to hide it very well but he doesnt seem to panic. He tried getting out of the way, he tried keeping Ortiz away with threats of counters and when that didnt work he sprawled over him and tried tieing him up. All those are much better than trying to swing it out.

I’m not a Wilder fan but to his credit, he remained calm and composed. Instead of reacting like a macho (punch for punch when stunned like Ortiz did), he was smart enough to grab Ortiz to gain some time and it paid
off in the end. Otherwise, he would have been knocked out.

Wilder does not panic , he remains calm. Wlad use to get panic attacks if tagged , although he was 50 times the fighter Wilder is.

Wilder knows his chin is suspect, yet he remains quite calm in recent fights. He seems to believe his earlier knockdowns and amateur KO losses were flukes and his chin weakness is a thing of the past. His awakening to reality with be brutal.

One thing he doesn't do and that's close his eyes when he punches like Joshua and Klitschko.

We saw Wilder do the funky chicken, good thing Haymon's referee gave him extra time to recover!

Joshua is for too strong and sound technically to lose to the human windmill. Wilder won`t last 4.

For someone who gets quite a bit of stick I think he actually looks quite steady when he is in trouble.

He is more alert than scared.
