Does Wilder punch harder than Bruno, Tyson or Ruddock, or Smith in their primes?

Didn’t bone crusher Smith ko Bruno? No way Ortiz is better than Bruno. Ruddock KO’d Smith.

Other notables ko’d by this trio - Mike Weaver, Gerrie Coetzee, Tim Witherspoon, Michael Dokes. I’m sure I’m missing some. All of these guys are better than Ortiz.

Ortiz is far more skilled than Bruno and Smith, Bruno had dreadful stamina and how old was Smith when Ruddock knocked him out?

Inserting "probably" in the sentence makes the meaning of it 100% correct. Probably.

Wilder knocks Fury out, even quicker than the first time and this time Fury wont be able to get up.

I agree with Fury even though he changes his mind from time to time, but he did say Wilder was the hardest puncher today. As far as resumes- they don't measure the fighter's chin as some great fighters were chinny and many club fighters have a granite chin.

According to quite a few boxers Wilder is the hardest puncher today. Almost never..ever ever does Bob Arum compliment fighters not in his stable, yet Bob said
“I haven’t seen a guy with that one-punch power; I’ve never seen anything like it. "

When Wilder wins by KO often it is a one punch aka 1 hitter-quitter. Rarely does he need to follow up. He's one of the hardest one punch KO fighters today. Harder than Tyson? Well Tyson's KO over Seldon= fake. KO over McNeely? Nope. Ruddock was stopped on the ropes & complained- then went 12 rounds rematch. Bruno or Ruddock? Hard to say, but I'd wager yes he does. Now have the guys they faced showed better chins? I guess.

Joe Bugner was younger when he fought Bruno than Ortiz was when he fought Bootleg D the first time, by over a year. Allow that washing basin within.

I'd like to see whether Wilder could KO Ruiz. That would answer a few questions for me. He took some serious shots from Joshua so clearly has a great chin, an Oliver McCall for this generation. if Wilder can stop Ruiz, especially a 1 -punch KO, it would genuinely convince me that he's right up there of all time.

That would be a great fight to watch. Wilder really doesnt outpoint anyone. Ruiz is a durable guy. There would be fireworks.

I think Wilder knocks him out but you never know.

The bout would certainly answer some questions.

He has little boxing skill to speak of, agree

but when I say “his technique is his forte”, I am referring to the technique with which he winds up and throws his Hail Mary shots that drops so many opponents

As we saw, both fury and Ortiz were boxing his ears off. But as unimpressive as he is from a skill standpoint overall, Wilder really knows how to wind up and throw that long booming shot with devastating effectiveness

I’m not sure you would call that “actual technique”, or rather, “amateurish desperation”, LOL ———-but it sure is effective when it lands
