Scull actually lost his fight with Vladimir Shishkin, but was given a robbery by the dishonest judges in Germany.

 

Scull might win the 1st 2 rounds because Canelo is usually a slow starter, but once Canelo starts picking up the pace around the 3rd round its downhill from there. Canelo in 6.

 

-Roach was an interesting quantity though. and had a load of expereince and very cagey.

-Ruiz was a threat to some guys out there and a 1 shot and swarm was his best chance. but there was the script of 'this is a short notice call up, there is a big unification on the horizon', big upset yeah. but the situation didnt lead to a ruiz pulling it off. had Bakole had a proper camp and not get 3 flights walking through customs less than 50 hrs before he was getting his hands wrapped, we'd expect him to giive a better performance wouldn't you think?

seriously though. scull has a title, has some background. but this looks like a "who wants it" business deal ala buster douglas or jimmy braddock after gaining the title. still...he has a good set up, out of the recent cubans he never set me as a mercurial talent but i like his jab and his hook after it. i think he could hold canelo to some stalemates in the middle of the ring. will cinnamon allow it?

The IBF champ should be Shishkin, not Scull. But barely anyone watched that fight, so no one cares about the robbery.

 

I don't give him much of a shot. Canelo does struggle with movers but I don't think Scull has enough to earn Canelo's respect. I could see it turning into a boring fight that goes the distance
