Does Wlad beat any of these guys if so why or how.

It's not about denial, if Wlad had ever beaten anyone to suggest he could live with these guys I would happily acknowledge it

Wlad fights scared. Can you imagine Lewis sitting on the end of his jab all night, like Ibragimov? Infact, Lewis is the one guy that can match him jab for jab. Difference is, Lewis is well rounded, and more importantly unafraid of varying his work

Eventually he's going to land, and Wlad will be needing a standing month count

 

Wlad got up four times after being blasted by Sanders. He was still
on his feet when the ref stopped it. A true warrior. Jello-jawed
Lennox was put into a near coma by the much softer hitting Rahman.
Rahman has always said that by far the hardest puncher he ever
faced was Sanders. The longer Lewis stays retired the more invincible
he becomes. Good grief I saw that overated, inarticulate buffoon
in a life and death struggle IN HIS PRIME with Ray Mercer. Nuff said!!!

Great post. That visual you presented was very convincing. A
large framed 6ft. 2 in. man like Sultan looks like a runt next to the
towering yet athletic Wlad. Imagine those tiny heavy's of yesteryear.
Most of them barely six feet in size and hovering around 200lbs.
soaking wet. Most would be outpointed easilly from distance or
pulverized by the right cross if they closed to engage the gifted
giant. It's just physics.

 

Wlad has barely hit his ceiling, from now on he may start building the legacy that will define him, so it's way too early to compare him with the all time greats.

I think it will take another three years to correctly place him among the HW history.

 

That's of course true but haters on this forum talk so much trash
about Wlad that people tend to come to his defence. I've read
idiots suggest Ken Norton would easily defeat Wlad. Man, Norton
got K.Oed by every hard hitting guy he ever met and usually in quick
and brutal fashion. I like Norton but he was made to be blown out
by the likes of Wlad. But you're right, the legacy thing takes time
and Wlad's a work in progress.

 

Wlads chin is way to weak to hang with any of those guys that were named, the man dont have the mental strength win a dog fight.

 

im sorry if purity, sanders and brewster can beat wlad how does he beat lewis, tyson or holy in their prime ?

I agree he may be to big for dempsey or marciano but i cant see wlad koing the g.o.a.t in his prime in 4 rounds like some of the nut huggers have been suggesting and who ever thinks he beats lewis needs to wake up seriously :yep

 

It's a different time now, Dempsey, Marciano, Patterson would be small cruiserweights today, they couldn't survive in the ring with Wlad.

Wlad versus Foreman, Frazier, Ali, Holyfield, it depends on which version of Wlad we talk about. On a day when he bonks like he did againt Purrity and Brewster, he could easily lose against these four and the current version of Wlad on his best night would be favored IMO to beat them. Throughout a whole career, he would have a few sub -par fights and the difference between the best and the worst Wlad is huge.

Lennox Lewis against Wlad, both on their best night, would be an amazing fight, 50:50 for me.

 

On the nights he lost to Purrity and Brewster, he could have lost against Chris Byrd. The difference between the worst version of Wlad and the best is huge, so conclusions from his losses about whom he can beat on his best night are short - sighted.

 

Those same guys say's wlad beat only small guys like Byrd,Brewster etc...Ali was/is 6'3--> avatar

 

Please post enlarged version of your avatar. That really makes you wonder about how Ali and other old-timers would manage against modern heavyweights. :think

 

Best might be to get wlad small cruiser opponent like O'Neil Bell or Mormeck..

 

As for LL vs Vitali I always thought that it was Lennox who was closer to being decapitated :think... And that if not cut Klit would finish him within a few next minutes probably :yep.
