Of course he does. He was the reigning HW champ for over a decade. He deserves a shot to regain the title.
Didn't Wlad used to have these contracts that if you beat him, you have to fight him again, his brother, his uncle, and Ukraine's minister of defense. Rematch is guaranteed, but after an embarrasing effort like that, he doesn't deserve to be let near a theater showing Lord of the Rings, let alone a boxing ring.
yes he does as larry holmes deserved a rematch with michael spinks ...yes when a champoin has had a long time reihn yes and im not even a klitschko fan ....
He deserves a rematch, but honestly if there is a rematch I hope it's a better fight than the snorefest the first one was. Fury wasn't great but Wlad was terrible and his limitations were exposed for once and for all.
It is possible to even SMELL the fear you have for Fury While your hero is trying to fight the corpse of Adamek
Wlad doesn't deserve no rematch. He was clueless and lost against Tyson, Tyson completely shut him off and dominated him under every department- he even outwrestled Wlad, he made Wlad look like a weak whimp! The rematch would be even worse. The fact Wlad made up his mind on only 4 days clearly shows he's only convincing himself the first fight was a fluke. But if Bryant Jennings can completely defuse his right hand, it was nobody's surprise Tyson could it even better. It was no damn fluke, anyway go ahead Wlad, add another loos to your resume and another back-to-back win over an atg boxer on Tyson's resume :good :happy
Yes, because of his long reign and dominance. And because of his age, it should be as soon as he wants within reason.
Or maybe it's you that's convinced that Fury's win was just a fluke. Those so adamantly against Wlad getting a rematch are just worried that Fury can't catch lightning in bottle twice, with good reason given his hot and cold mental state.
Absolutely! If Floyd Patterson got one after Liston and Lewis after Rahman and Ali after Spinks of course Wlad does. He saw the final bell. Fight stunk, Wlad looked terrible but after nine and half years as the best heavyweight in the world of course a rematch is warranted. Plus it's by far the biggest money maker. All signs point yes.
Does a champion who has held the belt for many years before losing deserve a rematch to recapture the title? Seriously? Why is this even a question?
