Hate to break it to you champ but Wlad has just unified two heavy titles and has dominated the heavyweight division for over two years. Just how many professional titles have you won? You are basically arguing against a man's success and that generally makes one look foolish and small. If being mentally weak can garner the kind of phenomenal success Wlad has then trainers should start teaching all their charges mental weakness. Wouldn't we all like to "falter" in our careers like Wlad?
Is the much smaller guy and lighter puncher, he was correctly his tactic to try and out manouvre the bigger man. Wlads job was of the aggressor...i saw zero aggression. And it was hardly what a dominatio, he won but he didnt land anything too major.
Cmon this is an internet forum... Wlad hasnt dominated the division, he has fought several guys who of a decent level, a domination would be when he unifies the belts. And his succes can only be described a phenominal depending on who you are comparing him to, some internet fans on ESB or his piers ala the former champions of the division in which he currently reigns? Dont try and compare the boxer to a ESB poster because its ridiculous...
fair enough. just watch his next fight against thompson. he's gonna lay him out! :good hopefully haye vs wlad will happen soon
I never called him a ***** or a *****, because he's far from either. If people want to compare him to guys like Lewis or Dempsey, which I have seen many times already at ESB, I'm willing tell you he's mentally weak compared to almost any top 20 ATG Heavyweight, it's rare to see a seasoned vet/so-called real champ, still **** the bed when a punch almost lands on his glass chin, my favorite fighters were mentally and physically tough in the ring, unlike Wlad who's only physically tough.
I think Wlad's pro championship career matches up pretty well when compared to his peers; former champs of the division. He won his first title at age 22 and defended it several times; his second title years later and defended it several times against the best the division could offer and now just unified two titles. The guy is just in his prime and is the dominant heavyweight and has been for a couple of years now, certainly since the Peter fight. Pretty impressive, don't you think?
Have you ever been in the ring? Wlad has over 150 times vs heavyweights. No, he does not lack stones. When knocked down, he'll get up, and proved he could get off the deck and win. If Wlad was a coward, he fouls out or get up after he hears " TEN ". I don't think he has a glass chin either. His chin is normal and suspect vs puncher, same as 80% of the other heavyweights.
He has hit the canvas 11 times and been TKO'd 3 times 2 journeymen and a club fighter, no one in the top 10 Heavyweight list possess that bad of a chin, the stats dont lie. Having a weakness like Wlads isnt all bad, as you could see, Manny has taught him well, clinching everytime he's hurt, and now pacing himself so he doesnt gas out like he has in the past. I think I just pointed out, what many people have already seen in the last 5 years, his mental weekness and chin is an obvious problem and can be exposed at anytime.
2 of 3 loses was gassing out and 1 was pure TKO/KO." Defend yourself all the time " it belongs to boxing, atleast if you want to be healtly man in older age's. Someone say'ed - " Show me a guy who's afraid to look bad, and I'll show you a guy you can beat every time. " Different thing is how entertaining fight's those are...
