Wlad's left hook is dynamite no doubt. But as far as the HARDEST left hooks.. just sheer impact.. I think it's a toss up between Tua and Morrison.

I don't think Wlad does. He wasnt noted as having a dangerous left hook as some other fighters. Against Joshua, Wlad missed a lot of left hooks which Joshua just bobbed quite easily.

Those series of left hooks were from a hurt Wlad trying to catch an inexperienced Joshua coming in for the finish. All they were meant to do was keep Joshua at bay and they did their job.

I think his hook with age, has lost some venom. But at his best it was a very, very good weapon. But Morrison and Tua had THE HARDEST left hooks in history imo.

Look how fast Tua's hooks are. And listen to the sound some of them make in this clip. Tua had a NASTY hook.

Hmm...ok, Wlad normally uses the jab to keep people at bay. It was a short left hook, its a lot of energy and vulnerability spent just to keep someone at bay but oh well.

It's huge when it lands, but it's so obvious, I was able to call it each time about a second before he tried it in the fight with AJ. He leans in and drops the left hand, any fighter who trains for the signs should be able to avoid it. AJ made him miss with it quite a lot.

Well according to Reg it was effective in that it kept Joshua at bay. To me, it made Joshua look good defensively and Wlad look like he couldnt land a left hook. A lot of gass used on missed punches and come the 11th round Wlad was quite gassed, as well as hurt of course.
