Agreed. Among top 25ish HW's, just off the top of my head, Frazier, Patterson, Max Schmeling, Ken Norton, and yes, even Joe Louis all had worse chins than Wlad.

So many t@red litter this board that presenting basic logics becomes absurd on here.

Being knocked down by someone with real force, such as Sanders, does not constitute a glass jaw. A glass jaw is not being able to take a punch. Wladimir has been hit by some hard shots which would ko the average poster on this board. Truth be known most on here are glass jawed. However, most here are not heavy weight contenders. Neither am I. People vary in their degree of punch resistance. The average heavy weight carries and delivers enough force to ko just about anyone if they catch them just right. Then if that happens many run around saying he has a glass jaw. Look at their over all career. All the punches they took prior to being ko'd obviously mean nothing. In some examples people can fight a whole career and block punches only with their face and keep ticking. Boxing incorporates a lot more than just how much force a fighter can take without being knocked down. Have seen Wladimi knock down (and out) a good many more than have knocked him down.

Wlad's chin isn't as weak as most people claim it to be. His biggest Achilles heels is his glass heart, not his chin. He folds like a warm tortilla when faced with adversity.

But yet you say a guy who has never been ko'd in the pro ranks and has only gone down once (Wilde) has one of the worst chins. Hmmm

    Can't face adversity?
Wlad was just about out of boxing after losing to Brewster. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was saying "He is done" yet Wlad picked himself up, didn't listen to the haters, formed a new team, fought Sam Peter, who was KOing everyone and considered the "next big thing" beat him and went on a ten year, 4 belt winning streak even while people doubted him along the way.....farthest thing from "folding when faced with adversity":deal

Yep, that right there IS greatness. It's the reason why he will go down as a cultural icon, a hall of Famer, a great champion. Can't wait to read his book one day

Wlad is a special person :good
