guys like pac/floyd get away with it, but with the klits is different, the sanctioning bodies would love to have a legit reason to strip wlad of one of his belts then build up another guy as champion then make him fight klitschko and cash in on the comission.
Wlad needs to follow to rules to keep his belts so that one day he can become undisputed.

Atleast he might finally fight 3 times this year, he needs to be more active anyone, he should easily beat anyone in the division anyway.
I dont mind something like mormeck-arreola-povetkin route this year for wlad.

IT's a fight that no one outside of Thompsons family and friends wants to see. If Thompson was going to have another fight with Wladimir, he should have done it within his next few fights. He never had good hand speed, but the fight that I see him on Friday Night Fights his hand speed looked horrible. If they do fight the result will be the same only it will happen a few rounds earlier and without him giving Wladimir any trouble in the fight.

I prefer the switch Vitaly vs Thompson and Wlad vs Arreola, I don't want to see Vitaly vs Arreola and Wlad vs Thompson again, no problem the other way around.

2012 is gonna be Wlads year. Thompson and Mormeck to both last past 10 rounds and Wlads key to gatecrash the P4P top 5.

id like a fight with the Dimitrenko and Puleev winner or even Helenius

    from America why not Arreola

cant come up with others, maybe Boystov or Ustinov

actually i wouldnt protest a Huck fight after huck's performance

Isn't that in some WBA rules the superb champ should fight the regular one
cause the regular is his mandatory?

It's a disgrace that Thompson becomes the mandatory without having to fight a real eliminator. The IBF mandatory to Wlad continues to be manipulated by American promoters (last 3 are Rahman, Peter, and now Thompson!).

That said, Thompson is pretty much the best challenge out there outside of Haye or Povetkin. He's definitely a more interesting challenge to Wlad then Arreola, Mormeck, or Chisora. Let's be real--a rangy southpaw like TT is a bigger threat then a come-forward brawler. Wlad will have to win this fight using speed rather than size.

Yes, he's 40, but he started his boxing career late. Certainly Wlad has improved alot since their first fight but Thompson is the one who was less experienced at the time and has had a chance to become more experienced. Also, Thompson was injured early on in the 1st fight.

So while I expect Wladimir to dominate TT I wouldn't write TT off completely.

Will Wlad take the fight? Well, he could vacate the belt and allow Thompson to fight someone else for the title (eg Arreola or Helenius), and then make a big fight against the new IBF titilist later this year. But I don't see that happening unless Wlad has an opportunity to make big bucks facing Povetkin, Huck, or Haye instead.

    :good

Sauerland knows Povetkin will loose, so he will never face Wlad.
