**** he could fight tomorrow after all the punishment he got. I think his corner put more meaningful blows on him than iggy.
Maybe, after he killed Austin in Jan or Feb, he came back and fought Brewster in July of 07, so thats like 5 months in between, I guess thats a fast return now adays.
It depends on the other opponents available. He already ruled out the WBC champion. Does he want the WBA championship?
Vlad hinted that he would, but he has to get an opponent, perhaps he can fight his mandatory Povetkin.
I don't think Wlad calls the shots on the WBC cluster****. He could've pounded the table for it and it still wasn't going to happen. It's going to be at least another year before that gets sorted out. The WBA, is a different story. In a dream scenario, Chagaev-Valuev would happen with Wlad meeting the winner. Who knows though...it takes two to tango. His next fight will likely be one of the mandatories- Thompson or Povetkin.
Hopefully. Unify a title with the ease of a sparring session and move onto another challenge. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Wlad is just too good for these guys.
