I also think Cormier can win it and I'll be rooting for him. Both of them are level above their competition at 205 IMO.

I guess the question mark is what Gus' chin is now like

A hellacious war with DC and a brutal concussive Rumble KO sure ain't good for anybody's chin

I'd rather see him fight Jones again and beat him, as i think DC always has his - and pretty much everybody's - number, and both guys would take years off each other

Gus' running - while horrible to watch - is a good strategy given what his chin's been through

Both of them battering Jones would be the best thing all round

    **** you Jonathon Jones

It won't work against Jones because Jones would utilize kicks and catch him. Jones also won't plod forward but will fight at range. Gus can do that against DC but it didn't work particularly well the first time either.

LMAO! Agreed. I'll tell ya what though.. Gus took some GOOD shots from Glover and didn't flinch. Glover hits harder than Jones.

No Jones won pretty decisively. DC had a couple solid rounds with the uppercuts on the inside but he got manhandled for the majority of the fight.

I had it 48-47 Jones... Easy to score but he only won by a round.

I really think DC beats him this time around. Post USADA Jones will get grinded down.

I could see either scenario honestly.... Jones comes back hungry and puts on a good performance, or the rust/USADA shows and he looks bad.

The only round Cormier clearly won was the 2nd, so 49-46 is reasonable too.

He still has his eye pokes that never get penalized.

Yep those and his little oblique kicks to hyper extend his opponents knees.

Not sure how needing four plus rounds to get a guy out of there, that Rumble Johnson crapped on in a few seconds makes you think that Gustofferson is new and improved.

It was the more complete performance. Rumble can KO anyone in the division early if he gets the chance, he can't do what Gustafsson did last week against Teixeira. Completely shut a top 10 opponent down for 4+ rounds, he almost always folds in these kind of affairs... Which is why he 'crumbled' against DC twice, where as Gustafsson held his own with DC and Jones(and then some) over the course of 5 rounds.

We don't know that. We saw that he clearly quit against DC twice. He didn't quit against Gustofferson. He beat the **** out of him, and left him crying in the cage. He's moved down everyone outside of DC that he has faced, and Gustofferson beating up Texeira for five rounds after eye gouging him along the way isn't very impressive.
