The guy that unintentionally constantly makes a fool out of himself? My gym has one since last month. It's this unemployed 20 year old kid. He trains 3 times a day even though everyone tells him that's unhealthy, he boxes like a clown and ignores tips, he pretends every sparring session is an actual match and he has been knocked down several times because he's throwing bombs against everyone. Even new people are beating him up and he always comes up with the most ridiculous excuses for why he lost. I mean he has heart but at this rate he will probably have severe brain damage and tons of other injuries within a year.
yes! our guy looks like the weird guy (Alan) from 'The Hangover' and acts like him: http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0143035/ He's just not good at kickboxing...socially awkward...its sad, but also hillarious. I refuse to spar with him, though...
or he will be the one who learns to fight at such a viscious level that he will indeed become a dog once the bell rings. no better place to learn how to fight than to constantly be in the middle of one. when I would spar I went hard every time out. if they were smaller ofcourse I had respect enough to lighten up, but if they were bigger i always went hard. I would crack them with what I had and only once have i ever complained about how hard i was hit back. A severe headache is nothing to go into sparring with, but thats another story. sometimes it's in the dog without the dog even knowing. only one place you can find out. respect to those who have found out.
Wow dayum, that gym clown sounds exactly like the one at my gym. Except coach doesn't let him spar anymore, and I refuse to spar him cuz the kid is gonna get seriously hurt. And i feel bad after clocking him (although it feels good at the time). Kinda feel bad for him though. He has a big heart, but zero coordination. Kind of reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite.
This guy sounds a bit like the character "Danger" in the movie "Million Dollar Baby" with Eastwood and Hillary Swank. Maybe the cheese has slid off his c-racker a bit and he can't help himself.
