Doesn't anyone else think Loma is looking like a small Calzaghe??

Southpaw fast hands, great footwork, unbelievable boxing skills, iron chin...sounds a little bit like a certain Welshman. Loma has a better defense skill set, while Joe is better offensively. I wonder if Loma can keep it up and soar to the same great heights as Super Joe? It will be fun to watch no doubt.

    Thought??

That fight was Lacy like. But Jeff took his beating like a man while Walters looked for a way out.

Loma's technique is far better than Calzaghe. So I disagree with your comparison.

There's some similarities, like being a southpaw, and speed of foot and hands. But I think that's about it.

Calzaghe can punch early in his career. But brittle hands turn him into a bit of a slapper

His punching technique and balance are 200% better than Clazaghe. Calzaghe looked very awkward and almost clumsy at times. Lomo looks like in perfect control at all times.

Welsh dragon loved to hit the floor during round 1 when taking very light punches.

They are both top competitor. But we haven't seen how Loma gonna react getting drop or hurt, although we get a glimpse of it in the salido fight

Not at all but I do think Crawford will be lomas Hopkins in comparison to calzaghie. Take him to school

If you are saying Calzaghe schooling Hopkins, I agree

    No
    Hopkins schooled joe.
I think maybe the same judges who gave joe the decision vs Bhop were scoring the fight by the same criteria as the judges that gave canelo the decision over Lara.
    -punching air
    -punching glove
    -being off balance
    -being frustrated
    -looking like a fool
