Doesn't anyone else think Loma is looking like a small Calzaghe??

Not making excuses for him not moving up! Just saying if he moves up and fights Crawford he will get beat, in part due to his size! The reason I believe this is size was the main reason he got beat by Salido, a much slower and less skilled fighter than Crawford.

it shows just how highly people rate loma that they feel the only person who can stop him is a guy who is finding it very difficult currently to make 140 and will be at 147 soon, when not to long ago loma was at 126

I don't think you have any idea what 'size' means in boxing. Maybe we should get Celestino Cabellero the bantamweight to fight Sergey Kovalev....:BangHead:

Exactly! And to further show how great people think Loma is... Think about his, people don't even want to contemplate 3G moving up 2 divisions to face a pound for pound guy in either Ward or Kovalev. 3G is very highly rated and loved on this site! Yet people think nothing of Loma moving up 4 divisions higher than where he started and facing Crawford. This guy is amazing!!! Has people thinking he could be the best ever! It's going to be fun watching his career unfold.

he certainly gets 11/10 for bravery and guts, and 0/10 for fakery. Hes a real man, in the mould of the JJ Braddocks and Holyfields of the world.

In fact joe cowardzsghe is the last name that springs to mind when you think of Loma.

Would that be like Cordoba, Marroquin, Amagasa, or Donaire fighting Rigondeaux? I know what size means. It puts the smaller man at a disadvantage.

    Yes, there are similarities.

    Both have/had outstanding footwork.

Joe had everything, at least until his hands got hurt. He was one of the most naturally gifted fighters I can recall. Speed, cardio, workrate, power (before hand issues), chin. He was unique.

Looking forward to watching Loma's career progress.

Loma is nothing like Calzaghe. Loma PUNCHES Calzaghe slaps
Slappy knew he got a gift against Hopkins that was proved when Slappy ducked Nards offer to go to Wales for a rematch. A fight his Welsh fans wanted so it could end the controversy Slappy shot his fans the finger & retired to a life of drug & alcohol abuse according to reports. He knew Nard was coming to kick his ass up & down the Rhondda Valley

Rigondeaux would beat Lomachenko, before Lomachenko would beat any fighter of quality that is four inches taller than he is.

Elevate Calzaghe?? Calzaghe is already in the record books as an ATG and Hall of famer. Loma has great potential, but he's not there yet.
