Doesnt Cotto look like he walks around at a very high weight?

    well he is 5'6 so around 170 is a little much.

    He probably walks around 165-170 when he's not training.

    he is NOT 5'8. He took a picture with my 5'8 brother in law...and he was shorter than my bro by at LEAST 2 inches. Cotto is like 5'61/2 or 5'7 (at the most)! Cotto is much shorter than he looks

    He weights around 160 lbs on fight night, so thats very likely when he is not training.

    cotto seems like a disciplined guy. he probably keeps his weight in check inbetween fights. i'd say the most he probably weighs inbetween fights is 160.

    Cotto gains weight very easily. He has to be very disciplined. His homepage says 5'8" but boxrec says 5'7". He looks big cause he has a big back an shoulders. BUt it is true he started camp for the Quintana fight at over 170lbs.

    Miguel Cotto is a very heavy guy for his height. As Manny Stewart pointed out several times, he's a natural MW who just happens to fight at WW. Even as he moved up from LWW, he still looks VERY weight drained everytime... He will be even stronger at LMW and I believe that in a few fights he'll move up.

    He has to be at least 170 between fights...

    I saw him at the MGM before Mayweather-Hatton, admittedly just after the Mosely fight, but he looked in good shape nowhere near 170.....and no way is he 5' 8...
