In latest 24/7 episode, Cotto doesn't look cut at all. Don't know if this is good or bad, but for someone to be coming into the match weighing less then usual, shouldn't he look a little more defined? Just such a stark difference when you see Pac at this time, the guy is cut like a rock.

I'm rooting for Pacquiao all the way...the Yankees already one the big one, and if my favorite fighter wins the biggest fight of his career, that will make my year. But, I will say this...Cotto looks way, way more focused and determined than Manny. I don't know about him looking soft. Doesn't look like it to me, but Cotto has never been all cut up and defined.

exactly, hes never really ripped, and well... manny always is. its just a boxer genetic make up, for example ive never seen juan diaz with a six pack.
cotto to win, and 2:1 odds at ladbrookes is a steal! :)

Bull. Not everybody in great shape looks like a Greek Statue for crying out loud. Rocky Marciano was always in exceptional condition but he didn't look well defined compared to Jersey Joe. Just like Calzaghe compared to Hopkins. Cotto is always in shape, he's not flabby. His natural build just doesn't look like a bodybuilder. You don't think a former Olympian and a 3-time world champion was ever in great shape? Come on, now.:huh

Anyone one who can go 12 hard rounds is in "TOP" physical condition you have to be in order to hear the bell for the 12th or else you'll be KO'd or you'll just collapse

Exactly... and most guys you might see walking around looking "ripped" could not make it out of the 3rd round, never mind the 12th. :dead

Cotto is in phenominal shape... end of story. :deal

Cotto has never EVER looked soft for ANY fight, don't expect this one to be his first especially when this is his best chance to make people forget about the Concreto loss.

Guys, you guys are on to something. I have been watching alot of Cotto tape recently and noticed the same thing - he looked strong and "bubbly" (bodywise) against up to Margarito but looked a bit flat or softer since then. did he change training routines or conditioner/nutritionist since the Margarito fight?

I also noticed that his face looked fuller in the past fights than as of recent. He looks a bit Gaunt from the face when comparing to the past fights at 147 (Margarito/Gomez/Mosley)
