    164 was only an option after the Lemieux fight was signed. You know when this happened? 4 years after GGG called Ward out. "Everyone from 154-168". 4. Long. Years.

    Ward was not intrested. So suddenly, mysteriously, shortly after the Lemieux deal was signed, after they hoped for a fight against Canelo and unifying MW, 4 years later, Ward makes an "offer".
    164 was the only fair thing before a potential Canelo fight.

    Now he suddenly fights the Paul Smith's of this earth at 175 .. hmm.

    I am glad Kovalev is finishing his career. A new mega thread will be born. "KO4".

    when ward made the offer and the lemieux fight was "apparently" done...there was still a year a few months left in 2015 and they could have made something for spring 2016....but lil g said "no thanks....maybe in 2017 it might be possible"....knowing full well ward would give up and leave for 175 by then...lol

    how many times can you guys use that lame excuse of the lemieux fight as if that was the only time they could have discussed a fight.....so sad and pathetic...keep holding on to that one...lil g could have said "maybe we can talk about spring of next year if some things dont work out"...instead he waited around for a jr mw and still couldnt even get that

    i know...i hear you...i still cant believe lil g basically agreed to pay dom wades legal bills and still give him a little extra spending cash after wade tuned up a couple of broads.....i guess lil g is into that kind of stuff but would rather someone else do his dirty work? oh thats right....we already know lil g is into passing off dirty work...like he did with andre ward to kovalev....shouldnt be suprised i guess

    Stop spreading rumors. This guy fought Rodriguez and Smith since 2013 at this time. Or he did nto even fight Smith then .. not even sure, this guy is so boring and irrelevant, I don't even know when he fought. No one ever knew what he is going to do. Fact is, he couldn't make 168 that's why he fought at 172.

    Fact is: GGG sells out MSG and sells 150k PPV at his debut. Ward doesn't even sell out Oakland. Stop hyping him, he is going to get retired after Kovalev and then he's history.

    Ward will be forgotten. Even Zelenoff is more known.

    he fought at 172(and actually came in under) in order to keep his weight halfway between both divisions in the event lil g sprouted a nutsack....but lil g never did and still hasnt till this day

    apparently ward is relevant enough for hbo and kovalev....ya know kovalev who is also a top p4p fighter...lol....ward still getting the same paydays as lil g.....

    you guys are so pathetic with your terrible excuses that make 0 sense

    Ward had time since 2012, 4 years .. but he didn't want the fight. The P4P # 27 only "showed interest" when the Lemieux fight was signed. It's a fact.
    172 because he wanted a GGG fight .. :rofl Hillarious. If he would like to fight GGG, he would have fight him instead of commentatin his fights and fighting Rodriguez.

    Excuses lol. You have a guy who fights Top 10 fighters and champs sinced 2012, who fought on PPV and has almost all belts. Ward is not relevant. Fact.

    All much, much bigger fights. That's how relevant Ward is.
