He never was that good as an amateur and i actually doubt he can be a successful pro. Cammarelle, Russo and Magicarpe, all of them were better than him.

Domenico was a true Amateur Great. However, I don't think he's very suited for the pro game. Most importantly, he's been past prime for a few years now.
His resume is impressive, yes, but I'm talking talent and skill wise, so no, he never was that impressive.
