I think it is a great idea. I find it hard to believe the SMW tournament is going to happen but to me this looks far more realistic.

Personally, I would opt for an 8 man straight knockout format and through in Audley and Sprott. I know people will roll their eyes at Audley being included but I think he still has some name value, is a good talker and as a 1st round opponent for Fury, I think he could be very interesting.

My brackets would be
Sprott vs. Sexton
Audley vs. Fury

Rogan vs. Skelton
Williams vs. Chisora

 

Interesting.... I take it the winners of these fights get to face each other.... so in the semi final I'd like to see.... Fury vs Chisora and then Rogan vs Sexton.... with Rogan against Fury in the final.

Then again I'd also like to see Fury fight Williams too.

 

The big problem I see with the round robin tournament is you have guys who have been knocked out having to fight again. So you would have to wait for them to be healthy and could throw the timescale off. With just the winners going on, hopefully you could do the whole tournament in 9 months
