Fury is his own worse enemy.
If he can keep his emotions in check and stay disciplined, he's certainly worthy of a shot at one of the belts.
I don't buy into any of the conspiracy theories about Chisora being past it, and being unmotivated. The truth is Fury beat the spirit out of him, nobody has dominated and bullied Chisora as easily as Fury did last night.

Chisora only turned up for the money. He wanted out after the second round.

And he had being ill for 4 weeks which explains how he went from 17 stone to 18 and a half
By fight night. Still don't think beating ready for Wlad but would love to see him clear his unfinished business with Ustinov by beating his face to a pulp.

Aren't you supposed to lose weight when you're ill.. :think

Would like to see him with a proper training set up and coming in at 16st.

His Ideal weight is around 17 stone. I really do wonder how good Fury could be if he lived the life between fights, had a nutritionist and used more modern training and exercise techniques. Then again he wouldn't be Tyson Fury and probably not my favourite fighter!

he showed good discipline, did what a bigger man should but chisora was awful, barely throwing a punch. the real test comes when he can't rely on his size.

Nah fury is at his ideal weight. He's fit and strong at 18 and a half stone. He'd be too skinny at 17.

He won't be able to do that vs Klitschko, I.E.. fannying about with stance switches and lazy slap jabs. It was a good performance but not as good as Wlads two weeks back.

Before the fight,a lot of people on both forums discounted the size advantage, said it was a different Chisora due to his losing weight. It looked like a cruiserweight against a welterweight. I think the difference could come when he meets somebody possibly like Stiverne who is a bit bigger than Chisora and a fair bit better. Or as you say,Wlad or Wilder who are as big. Wlad has a bit of experience with big men but I think Fury would be possibly the best of them,or at least the most determined. Saturdays fight makes things interesting,I think.

Surely Stiverne,Wilder and Jennings are near enough or in,the top five.

chisora looked more muscle bound than before to me, maybe why he stopped trying anything after 2. on the odd occasion he got inside he didn't try to work the body after the low blow calls, just an occasional overhand right, possibly prompting fury to go switch to negate the punch.

i'd hope fury has enough about him to finish wilder, but wlad keeps fury exactly where he wants him with the jab, and closes the show relatively early when an opening for his right hand is presented. i still feel price would be a good indicator of each man's standing.
