I won´t say i hate the Klitschko´s, but i do not really like them and generally i tend to root for their opponents. Nevertheless i have to admit, they´re on a different level than todays heavies and yes, they have dominated at least half a decade. Opposition was weak though. Vitaly lost to the best two fighters he fought and Wlad makes me believe that he would never be able to compete in a war. He´s winning as long as he is able to keep his opponent at bay, he´s no warrior.

Their records speak for themselves, when they leave the scene we'll see much lesser fighters calling themselves champ every year. No doubt the morons will call that era superior when it comes.

I like it how they make good boxers look helpless and then batter them for 12 rounds or get a KO

Then again if you get stopped, shouldnt you automaticly loss remaining rounds.

Ignoring them, favors glass chinned fighters

Also this record stat that you claim they own is extremely hard to confirm, because you don’t see score cards of much of the early career fights anywhere. But if we automatically assume that world class fighter won his every round in his early fights Herbie Hide could very well be second in that list.

He has lost 10 or so rounds in his career.
Also David Haye has lost only handful of rounds in his career

The world of boxing will be much better off when the world insists that Russia stop using steroids to develop children into SUPER Heavyweight monsters.

Haye has a limited amount of fights, so he can not compare. Vitali has never been behind on a score card after 3 rounds. That is impressive.

The Klitschkos have dominated the heavyweight scene since 2003, and have been on the scene since the late 1990s.

In particular, Wladimir Klitschko has dominated the division since 2006. Now we are in 2011. Wladimir Klitschko is like this century's Jack Johnson.

Dominating a decade? Well vitali spent 4 years away from boxing and wlad spent 2 years getting knocked out.

If you want to cherry pick each other's best moments then you can say then dominated a decade. But remember only wlad has unified. Thats kinda like saying hopkins and sturm have dominated the middleweight scene since 95. 15 years of dominance.

Personally I see this whole combination cherry picking as a disservice. They have achieved enough to be remembered in their own right, and unfortunately for vitali he will never reach wlad's heights, although in his prime I would favour him to because wlad 7 out of 10 times.

I wouldn't call this "cherry picking": Record World title fights. Vitali: 8-1, Wlad 16-2. Combined record 34-3! 91.89% winning percentage.

I believe each of their records stands extremely well on it's own. The reason they are often times mentioned together is because they are brothers, it's the historical perspective of it. Two brothers dominating.

Klitschkos go after the best fighters they can find. Most contenders are afraid to fight them.

Well that's it settled then. They must be the best ever!

You should go round their house and wank them both off!:blurp

    It is indeed impressive

Next time you could just say that, instead of claiming they own some weird record, that can’t be proven.

I don't think anyone can say the Klitschkos were dominating diddly **** while Lewis was around. So we are looking at 2003 at the earliest. Vitali was missing for 4 of those years after 2003.

Then Wladimir was being KTFO as late as 2004. You can fairly say he started dominating with his win over Peter in 2005 and from then on.

Both Klitschkos get a lot of **** and hatred thrown at them that they don't deserve. But people don't need to make up lies to make them sound better than they are. Both of them are so good that challengers are too scared to fight them, that kind of dominance is unheard of, and it has lasted for years.

But saying that they have reigned for a decade? Come back in 2015 and try again.
