I think Breazeale has a pretty good chance to stop Whyte. Whyte is damn easy to hit and never faced a big punching opponent apart from Joshua (i do not count those old shot cans Browne and Helenius). Whyte is one of the most protected fighters in the HWD only facing shot old bums like Browne, Helenius, Lewison, Tann, Minto, Costa Junior OR british level fighters like Allen. He faced three good opponents in his career: Joshua KOd him, Chisora was robbed on the cards and beat him and Parker would have beaten him without the bs knockdown or at least deserved a draw. Breazeale isn't something special, he is limited and he won't eat many of those hooks from Whyte which are pretty good tbh but he is able to drop him, he has definitely more power than Parker AND more important is very very tall. If Breazeale can survive for 8-9 rounds he might be able to take Whyte out in the last three rounds as Whyte was really struggling with his gas tank in the last three rounds vs Parker. It looks like Whyte only has a gas tank for 7-8 rounds and is fading heavily afterwards.
Breazeale has the toughness to withstand whyte and take him out lare, but he will have to start punching quick or he could miss the chance of a round 7-12 KO, and whyte would take a decision.
WBC shambles or not id like to see this fight would be a good interesting matchup. Certainly wouldnt be the fastest paced fight in the world. I think i favour Whyte but this would be one i wouldnt be putting my money on.
