The plan was to take Spence into the late rounds, which was the worst game plan they could have utilized. When your guy is a broken man (KO'd by GGG and needing to drop 35 pounds), whatever stamina he had was going to be erased by mid fight. Kell needed to hit the gas from round 1 and I think he would have gotten Spence out of there. 5-2 for Brook after 7.
Same here brook was definantely man handling spence admitted he was surprised how strong was and he was getting pushed back in the ring I had brook 4-2 coming into the r7 when the injury occurred. Problem also maybe was fatiguing due to the weight and his size was massive side by side into the ring
Ingle should have devised a plan to allow Brook's to conserve energy in the later rds, by spoiling a little, instead of doing the stick and move, which takes a lot out of you. In the clinches, Brook was standing there doing nothing while Spence piled on body shots. Either keep at a distance or tie up the guy, ffs.
No no Dom for 2 rounds before was telling brook don't waste punches and waste energy he was seeing signs the pace was hot and this is going to be a 12 round fight he was screaming to brook to not try and pushing around using energy. Check the fight
Brook was doing his usual planting his feet swaying from the waist thing but was getting hit with big shots .didn't seem to be able to adjust Spence had a fairly static target and took advantage.
